South School Food Drive Students are encouraged to bring donated food items to South School beginning on Monday, November 13 and ending on Tuesday, December 5. The classroom with the highest overall total of donations will earn a classroom party! Please be sure items are not in glass containers and that all items are unopened. Thank you for working with South School as we help the PHS Student Council provide food for Pikeland families.

Saukee Reading Club The first installment of Saukee Reading Club forms are due tomorrow! Any Kindergarten - 2nd grade student who tracked their reading using the Saukee Reading Club form will receive a free ticket to an upcoming Lady Saukee basketball, Saukee basketball, or Saukee wrestling event.

South School News There were a lot of giggles as Mrs. Williams' preschool classes mummified her this week. Thank you to the Little Braves Boosters for coordinating the 'Mummify your Teacher' event and to all of the students who voted!🎃

Happy Halloween from South School! Today the students were treated to a 'candy corn' fruit parfait for lunch, they enjoyed yummy treats at their class parties, and they got to show off their costumes with a costume parade! Be looking for posts tomorrow showing off the winner of the 'Mummify your teacher' fundraiser sponsored by the Little Braves Boosters.🎃🎃

South School Halloween Festivities The South School Little Braves are excited for Halloween on Tuesday! For this special occasion, students are allowed to wear costumes to school. In order to keep all of the students safe, costumes may not have scary masks, blood, or weapons included with them. For those families that signed up to provide treats for your child's class, please be sure the treats follow any classroom allergies that the teachers have shared. Happy Halloween!

South School Early Dismissal South School will be dismissing at 2:35 p.m. on Thursday, October 19 for Parent/Teacher conferences. Reminder - There is no school on Friday, October 20.

South School Special Guests The Kindergarten Little Braves had special visitors on Friday who taught the students about schools in Tanzania, Africa. The students also learned how to say good morning in Swahili and were taught about the Tanzanian lifestyle. What an amazing experience!

South School Picture Day Tomorrow is picture day at South School! Every student will get their picture taken. Families can order pictures online at www.inter-state.com/order and use the code 80101EB. **Please note that yearbooks are not included in picture packages. Yearbooks are an individual option on the order form.**

South School Fall Picture Day Fall Picture Day for South School students will be on Thursday, September 28. All students will have their pictures taken. Families can order online by visiting www.inter-state.com/order and using the Order Code 80101EB. Picture retake day is scheduled for November 15. **Yearbooks no longer come inside of picture packages. Families who would like a yearbook have to choose that option on the order form. **
